
A couple months ago I touched on the issue of racism, racial profiling, and the aftermath of racial profiling. For many years minorites, primarily African Americans, have been subject to numerous amounts of racism and prejudice. They have been subject to segregation and inequality. So for many people the election of Barak Obama was a stepping stone. It was an achievement, a success. The election of Barak Obama ment the justice for all is progressively underway. But does this mean that there is now weauility? I have since learned that some people feel the election of Barak Obama means there are no longer barriers in place for the minority communities. That now, minorites have no reason to blame anything on the white man because we are all equal. But does racism play both ways at the hands of both blacks and whites?
